The AC66 is a two way full range loudspeaker designed for permanent installations. This low profile, high output, weather resistant speaker features two treated direct radiating 6.5 inch cone loudspeakers and a 1 inch high frequency dome tweeter loaded on a 100 x 90 degree waveguide, with a passive crossover. The AC66 is ideally suited for under balconies, distributed systems, or any other application where compact high output, high resolution sound reproduction is needed.

The enclosure is constructed of 12-ply void-free birch hardwood plywood and is coated with a weather and wear resistant ProCoat™ polyurea hybrid finish. All rigging components are weather protected with a heat cured epoxy powder coat finish. Components in the front of the enclosure are protected by a curved grill made from perforated steel that is coated with heat cured epoxy powder, and lined with acoustically transparent foam.

Mounting locations are distributed across 5 surfaces of the enclosure. An Omni-mount™ compatible location is available on the rear of the enclosure, while an additional 15 reinforced 1/4-20 UNC threaded locations are available for other mounting options. U-bracket with attachment hardware is also available for single unit wall and ceiling mount installation.

One channel of discrete amplification and signal processing is required for this product. The preferred signal processor for the AC66 is are the McCauley MSeries family of loudspeaker controllers.
